Backend developer

Description

We are looking for a passionate Back-End Developer who masters the art of PHP development. Your main tasks will be:

  • Writing clean, robust, and efficient PHP code, compliant with Drupal/PSR standards
  • Working closely with the business analyst to find the best possible solutions to given problems

Skills required

  • Excellent OOP PHP skills (Composer and PHPUnit knowledge a big plus)
  • Good English skills, written and spoken
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • A focus on details and quality
  • Drupal 7 or preferably Drupal 8 experience

Bonus skills

  • Drupal.org contributions
  • Drupal site-building techniques (Views, Panels, Paragraphs, etc)
  • Good DevOps skills (Docker, Jenkins, Ansible)
  • Solr and/or Elasticsearch skills
  • Knowledge about web accessibility standards
  • JS knowledge
  • HTML/CSS knowledge
  • French conversational skills

We mainly work for international organizations based in Geneva, Switzerland. As such, we tend to work for many NGOs whose mission it is to make our world a better place. Who we are and what we do

Inovae is one of the main Drupal shops in Switzerland, founded in 2009. We continuously look for talents to hired, here in Switzerland as well as in Hungary and Romania. Today, about half our team is located in Geneva, and the other half works remotely. We build Drupal solutions for all sorts of clients, but focus on Geneva-based NGOs.
